Guided by our corporate philosophy Meiko Washin (“Always Bright and Friendly”) and to contribute to society broadly through our businesses, we see our response to sustainability, including social and environmental issues, as a top priority for management, and we take a proactive approach to these initiatives to help realize a sustainable society.

Our corporate philosophy Meiko Washin (“Always Bright and Friendly”), shows our commitment to contribute to society broadly through our businesses. In 2021, we established our Sustainability Policy based on the recognition that addressing sustainability is an important management priority that can lead to new profit opportunities.
We have now undertaken more initiatives, such as identifying the Group’s risks and opportunities to respond to climate change and to prioritize ESG (environmental, social, and governance) issues that need to be addressed as we strive to help realize a sustainable society.
We will contribute to the environment and society through our business activities and increase our corporate value as well as promote the creation of new social value by having every employee make a personal commitment to sustainability.
