Department
The Mineral Resources & Environment Business Department proposes new value creation by leveraging our extensive network centered in China and strong relationships with partners,mainly in the fields of mineral resources, inorganic materials, metal products, environmental products, and pharmaceutical intermediates.
We trade in rare earth elements and metals excavated in China and develop new businesses that meet market requirements by using our matching capabilities in metal product trading,where we have a long track record and experience. In addition, we propose using environmental products, pharmaceutical intermediates, and equipment to customers both in Japan and overseas, in this way contributing to environmental conservation and improved quality of life.
Strengths of the business
We will use our broad network and good relationships with partners in various fields to propose new businesses. For example, in China and Southeast Asia, where we have a strong position, we provide the experience and know-how we have accumulated to partners and help them to become companies with high potential for business continuity, with the aim of expanding operations without becoming restricted by existing types of businesses.
