The Meiwa Group believes that sustainability issues represent both risks and opportunities. To enhance our corporate value by addressing these issues actively and positively, we established the Sustainability Committee as an advisory committee to the President, along with the Sustainability Promotion Office in February 2022, with the President responsible for promoting sustainability. The Sustainability Committee, chaired by a corporate affairs officer, discusses the policies, issues, and actions related to sustainability, then reports to the Board of Directors. Important issues are deliberated on and resolved by the Board of Directors. Currently, supervision by the Board of Directors is functioning effectively.
