We continually strive to strengthen corporate value based on our recognition of climate change and other sustainability issues as both risks and growth opportunities.
Under our governance structure, the President promotes sustainability initiatives with support from an advisory Sustainability Committee and the Sustainability Promotion Office. Chaired by the general manager of the corporate planning department, the Sustainability Committee discusses policies, key issues, and actions related to sustainability and reports on the content of such discussions to the Board of Directors, which deliberates on and resolves important matters. In this way, we maintain the oversight structure needed to achieve sustainability.
